1994 Proof U.S. Capitol Bicentennial 90% Silver Dollar
The 1994 Capitol Bicentennial Silver Dollar was for the 200th anniversary of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington DC. The Capitol Building had already been featured on some of the 1989 Congress Commemorative Coins and would appear again on the 2001 Capitol Visitor Center Commemorative Coins. This time around, the program included one silver dollar coin with a maximum authorized mintage of 500,000.
